Yet more Weasel-Boy news ….
For those old enough (in internet years, which are like dog years without the vet bills) to remember the many, many scams and dodgy business practices perpetrated by Peter Francis-Macrae, his lastest shenanigans in court are below, and for those that dont, Google search results for “weasel boy” will provide hours of amusement
As reported on peterboroughtoday.co.uk.
An Internet spammer jailed for six years was back in court yesterday for
a financial confiscation hearing.
Peter Francis-Macrae (23) was sent to prison after being convicted of
running a computer scam, threatening to destroy the headquarters of
Cambridgeshire police and making death threats.
The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking to recover the money Francis-
Macrae made by selling thousands of e-mail and website names when he had
no right to do so.
Peterborough Crown Court was told yesterday that efforts are being made
to trace and confiscate more than £1 million.
Francis-Macrae had refused to leave the cells when the case was due to
be heard yesterday, and had to be brought into court in an arm-lock by
police officers.
As prosecutor William Redgrave began outlining the case, Francis-Macrae
attempted to disrupt the hearing by screaming “I’m innocent”, “this is a
sham”, and “al-Qaeda”, repeatedly as loud as he could.
After a few minutes, Judge Nicholas Coleman ordered him to be returned
to the cells.
The case was adjourned until a later date yet to be set.
A trial last year was told Francis-Macrae, of Crosshall Road, St Neots,
had threatened to destroy the headquarters of Cambridgeshire police when
officers began investigating him.
He launched an appeal against his convictions claiming they were unsafe,
but Lord Justice Moses threw out the appeal.
